General:
Parts of this website (hereinafter: the “Website”) and these Terms and Conditions are written in masculine form for convenience only, but apply equally to all genders.
- The Website is owned and operated by A.L.B. Motel Aviv Ltd. (hereinafter: the “Company”). The Website provides information about the Company’s hotels, services, prices, special offers, and more. It also enables users to book vacation packages online, subject to the terms detailed on the Website.
- Booking vacation packages (hereinafter: the “Services”) through the Website shall be made as outlined below. It is clarified that placing an order via the Website constitutes a binding transaction, equivalent to booking through any other method with the Company’s Reservations or Internet Department.
- Guests are obligated to maintain the integrity and condition of hotel property, including items found in rooms and public areas. Guests must inspect equipment before use.
- In case of damage and/or loss of equipment, the guest will be charged for the full value of the damage, without the need for further proof.
- Reservations are not binding until a confirmation is received from the Company.
- Online bookings via the Website will be considered “distance sales” only if they meet the criteria set out in the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981.
- The Website is intended for individual customers only and not for group bookings. The Company reserves the right to decline any booking request at its sole discretion without explanation, and the user will have no claim in this matter.
- For clarity: an infant is defined as a child up to 2 years of age, and a child is defined as one aged 2–12.
- Prices shown on the Website are in New Israeli Shekels and do not include VAT, in accordance with the VAT exemption applicable in Eilat.
- 2. Website Usage Terms:
2.1 Any person using the Website and/or purchasing services through it (hereinafter: the “User”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The User waives any claim or demand, directly or indirectly, against the Company, the Website, its operators, owners, managers, employees, or representatives. 2.2 Use of the Website is permitted solely for booking or receiving information. Any other use—including copying images, content, or information—is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Motel’s management. Unauthorized use constitutes a violation of copyright and other applicable laws.
2.3 During booking, users will be required to enter a valid credit card for security purposes only (unless full prepayment is required for non-refundable packages). Payment will be collected upon arrival or departure, at the management’s discretion.
2.4 The Company is not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party information published on the Website, and users will not have any claim regarding such content.
2.5 All images on the Website are for illustration purposes only. Actual appearances may vary due to display differences.
2.6 The Website may contain links to third-party websites (hereinafter: “Linked Sites”) for user convenience only. The Company is not responsible for the content, legality, or availability of these Linked Sites. Any access is at the User’s sole responsibility. Written permission from the Company is required to link or display this Website on another site.
2.7 The Company may, at any time and without prior notice, modify the Website, its structure, content, and these Terms. Changes take effect from the moment of publication unless stated otherwise.
2.8 The Company, its owners, managers, employees, or representatives shall not be liable for the Website’s server or potential harm (e.g., viruses) caused to a User’s device. The Company does its best to prevent such issues but cannot guarantee complete protection.
2.9 The Company is not liable for damages resulting from delays, failures, or issues related to use of the Website or booking services.
2.10 The Company is not responsible for illegal activity conducted by users or any third party beyond its control.
2.11 The Company reserves the right to deny or terminate access to any part of the Website without prior notice. Users will not have any claim or demand regarding such actions.
2.12 Any dispute regarding these Terms or the Website will be resolved under Israeli law, in the competent courts of Eilat only.
- 3. Purchaser Information:
3.1 Users purchasing services must provide all required personal details as prompted by the Website and as required by law.
3.2 The Company is not responsible if the purchase information is not properly received by the system, or due to any technical issue preventing completion of the purchase.
3.3 The Website’s owners, operators, managers, or employees will not be responsible for user errors in entering booking details, including selection of vacation packages, dates, number of guests, meals, or other services.
3.4 Providing false information is a criminal offense. The Company reserves the right to pursue legal action and damages against users who submit false information, including civil claims
- 4. Reservation Cancellation Policy:
At Motel Aviv, your peace of mind begins at the moment of booking. Below is our cancellation policy, aligned with Israeli Consumer Protection Law.
How can you cancel a reservation?
Reservations made through our website may be canceled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law via one of the following methods:

- Through the Motel Aviv website
When canceling, please include the following details: full name, ID number, reservation number, and an additional identifying detail (if cancellation is made verbally).
Cancellation Fees:
4.1 Cancellation up to 14 days before the stay – no charge (except non-refundable reservations).
4.2 Cancellation more than 14 days after booking but at least 7 business days before check-in – cancellation fee of 100 NIS.
4.3 Cancellation less than 7 business days before check-in – 50% of total reservation cost.
4.4 No-show without prior cancellation – charge of up to 3 nights based on reservation terms.
When can you cancel without any cancellation fee?
- In case of a material discrepancy between the reservation and the actual service provided
- In the event of a breach of agreement
- If the service is not delivered on time
The hotel management reserves the right to consider fee-free cancellations in other cases at its sole discretion.
4.5 Cancellations by the Company
The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend sales on the Website, in whole or in part, at any time, including in the following cases:
- If any illegal activity is discovered or suspected on the Website.
- If a user has knowingly provided false or misleading information during booking. Submitting false details is a criminal offense, and the Company reserves the right to pursue legal action for damages.
- If the user’s credit card is blocked or otherwise restricted.
- If a technical or communication failure occurred that prevented or could have prevented a successful booking.
- In cases of force majeure, war, hostilities, or terrorism that prevent the sale or fulfillment of reservations.
- If there is an error in service description, booking terms, or user information.
- If any action is taken in violation of these Terms.
In such cases, the Company will notify the user and will not charge their credit card. Any payments made will be refunded.
The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify any reservation (in whole or in part) for any reason, including if the number of guests does not justify the service booked. The Company may replace any room or service with an alternative, subject to applicable law.
The Company may at any time change booking conditions, prices, and services listed on the Website. The Company also reserves the right to cancel or reject transactions, even if an automated confirmation has already been sent.
The Company may from time to time change the Website’s structure, content, appearance, terms of use, and availability of services, without prior notice.
- 5. Coupon Code Terms of Use:
Coupon codes (hereinafter: “Coupons”) may be used under the following conditions:
- If the coupon offers a percentage discount (e.g., 10%), the discount applies only to the first room in a multi-room booking.
- Specific coupon restrictions will be detailed in the relevant promotional messages.
- Only one coupon may be used per reservation.
- Standard booking terms apply and all reservations are subject to availability.
- Coupons cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged.
- All taxes, fees, and additional charges apply to coupon-based bookings and must be paid at the time of reservation or upon arrival at the hotel.
- Coupons have value only when redeemed according to the promotion’s terms. They cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
- Single-use coupons are considered used once a qualifying booking is made and will not be refunded or reissued.
- If stay dates change after coupon redemption, the coupon will not apply to the new dates.
- Coupons cannot be used for previously made reservations.
- The Company reserves the right to change these coupon terms or cancel any coupon at any time.
- 6. Prohibited Use:
By using this Website, you agree not to use it for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, as outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
- 7. Prices:
Room prices are as displayed on the Website at the time of booking, unless a clear pricing error has occurred. Prices may change at any time, but such changes will not affect already confirmed reservations.
Despite the Company’s best efforts, some room prices may be listed incorrectly. The Company expressly reserves the right to correct pricing errors, including for pending bookings. In such cases, and subject to availability, the Company may offer to maintain the reservation at the corrected price or cancel it without penalty.
The Company is not obligated to honor erroneous (lower) prices, even if an automated confirmation was sent.
- 8. Changes:
The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue any price commitment, availability, or offer at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
The terms in effect at the time of booking will govern the reservation. The failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision
- 9. Force Majeure:
The Company shall be exempt from any liability toward users in connection with the cancellation and/or modification of their reservations at any time, caused directly or indirectly by force majeure.
For this section, “Force Majeure” means any event beyond the reasonable control of the Company that affects or has the potential to affect its ability (or that of its representatives) to fulfill its obligations, including but not limited to: strikes, lockdowns, civil unrest, fire, flooding, weather conditions, civil disobedience, war, military operations, invasion, rebellion, pandemics, disease outbreaks, boycotts, arrests, technical malfunctions, or any other event outside the Company’s reasonable control, whether anticipated or not.
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change or cancel any reservation (or part thereof) in cases where the number of guests does not justify the room or service ordered, or for any other reason. It also reserves the right to substitute rooms or services ordered with alternative options, subject to applicable law.
Users and/or anyone on their behalf shall have no claim or demand against the Company regarding its failure to fulfill its obligations or its provision of services that differ from the original reservation, where such changes result from force majeure events.
In such cases, the Company shall not be obligated to refund the user any amounts paid, in whole or in part.
- 10. Data Security and Privacy Policy:
User Consent:
10.1 The user is not legally obligated to provide personal information. By browsing or using the Website and/or providing any personal details, the user agrees to this policy and to the use of their data in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981. If the user does not agree to this policy, they must cease using the Website and may contact the Company to explore alternative solutions.
10.2 The Company will not share the user’s personal details with third parties, nor will it use the user’s payment information for any purpose other than processing payment for requested transactions.
10.3 Notwithstanding the above, the Company may share personal information with third parties in the following cases:
- If the user has acted (or failed to act) in a manner that harms or may harm the Company or others.
- If the user has used the Website for illegal activity.
- If required by court order.
- In case of any legal dispute or proceedings involving the user.
10.4 The user acknowledges that all personal information submitted or to be submitted may be stored in a registered database maintained by the Company, in accordance with the Protection of Privacy Law. The user confirms that all information was provided voluntarily and with full consent.
10.5 The user agrees that the Company or its representatives may contact them in the future for direct marketing purposes, including promotional offers via various communication channels, in compliance with the law. The user may request, at any time and in writing, to be removed from the Company’s databases or mailing lists, or to restrict the transfer of their data to any third party, whether temporarily or permanently.
10.6 The user also acknowledges that the Company may store personal data in an additional marketing-related database (if applicable) and may use the data for direct marketing, subject to applicable laws.
Types of Data Collected and Purpose:
10.6.1 The data may include non-identifiable browsing data, collected automatically for statistical and operational purposes: managing and improving the Website and its services, enhancing the user experience, displaying personalized content or advertisements (including on social media), and responding to user inquiries. If the user clicks on a third-party link, they do so at their own risk, as the Company has no control over and bears no responsibility for the characteristics, terms of use, or privacy practices of those websites.
